Mission to the Rescue

This vision came to me for the second time, but this time it was clearer and more troubling. This was 14th January, 2014 — 3:49 a.m.

I found myself returning from a city to a place that looked exactly like Auchi Polytechnic. Before this, in the vision, a Vice Chancellor had come to visit my sister, Sister Maria, where she was doing business. People gathered around to congratulate her, and somehow that joy connected to my own journey.

I loved the atmosphere, so I found myself walking toward a place that looked like Auchi Polytechnic campus. People were congratulating me and thanking me, as though I had brought something valuable from overseas.

I was supposed to be in a car, but strangely, the path I was taking was only a footpath—narrow, almost hidden. Yet I kept walking.

Soon, I realized I was sharing goods that I had brought from abroad. But when I looked closely, the goods were yam seedlings inside a wheelbarrow. The wheelbarrow itself was unusual—computerized—and it was being pushed by a friend of mine named Monday.

On the digital screen attached to the wheelbarrow, I could see images of flash drives, radios, TVs, cars, and other expensive items. But inside the wheelbarrow itself were just seedlings—simple, humble, almost insignificant. I was the one showing Monday the right way to go.

We finally arrived at my uncle’s house, and he received us warmly. But the sight that met me there shook me to my core.

I saw my older brother Dickson, and he appeared strange—as though life had robbed him of something vital. I saw my other brother, the one with half a leg, struggling with his tailoring work. Then I saw my in-laws, Friday and Abraham, but they looked like mad men, confused and broken.

Around them were many other people who looked the same—strange, afflicted, robbed of dignity. In that moment, it became painfully obvious that their destinies had been tampered with… stolen… reduced.

My uncle himself looked younger, healthier, stronger, and he kept talking about how we should have brought more seedlings, as though he had benefited from them.

I woke up suddenly.

The time was 3:49 a.m.

The date: 14th January 2014.

The vision left my spirit heavy, because it revealed battles that were deeper than the physical eye could ever see.
